With the first quarter of 2020 behind us, so much more lies ahead. The Impact Report typically recaps and highlights our efforts over the previous three months, and outlines next endeavors, opportunities, and prospects. This issue however, arrived in your mailbox a little late. We call it: Q1+1. Thank you for your patience. We will still recap and highlight our efforts. Yet, our ability to forecast is limited.
Like you, we approached 2020 with optimistic enthusiasm. Now, we must muster up that optimism and brush off our cheerleading spirit as we stay six-feet apart, look for PPP advice, search out PPE items, and imagine the smiles under each other’s masks. That said, I know that despite the trials and tribulations, the losses and sacrifices, we shall endure. As a cancer survivor, single mom, and Black female entrepreneur, I know that this too shall pass. Please practice social distancing, don your gloves and mask up! The life you save might be mine.
– Cheryl McCants, president & CEO
